Wittenberg, the city of Luther is visited by a diverse clientele from all over the world not only because of its four UNESCO World Heritage sites. Be it from religious or urban development interest. But what happens when the main attractions are partially obscured due to structural renewal for more than three years (until 2016)?
Wittenberg, together with the IMG (Investment and Marketing Corporation Saxony-Anhalt), pro-actively wanted to address the possibility of shrinking visitor numbers.
In Collaboration with Unity Concepts Werbeagenten developed a suitable communication concept. A new debate on the issue of the reformation of Wittenberg should be created by means of an adequate substitute experience to a suitable visual appearance and road show including orientation as well as city marketing.
